Coughs, Colds and Flu

This is the time of year when coughs, colds and flu are most prevalent, but we can can greatly reduce our susceptibility to these infections by improving our nutrition.

Winter is the time of the year when many people fall ill with colds, coughs and runny noses.  Many people just accept that these common illnesses are an inevitable part of the winter landscape.  When the symptoms arrive they turn to the chemist for a patent medicine designed to suppress the symptoms.  An alternative approach is to build up the body's natural resistance to infection through improved nutrition.  Staying healthy is a lot easier than trying to get well.

For general nutrition I take Neways Maximol Solutions.  This is a wonderful product which contains 67 minerals, 17 vitamins, 20 amino acids and 30 enzymes and organic fulvic acid electrolytes in a colloidal solution which makes it very highly absorbable by the body.  It is no secret that modern methods of agriculture have stripped the average diet of essential nutrients.  Years of cultivating the same farm lands with the same crops have slowly drained the soil of essential nutrients.  Air pollution and toxic chemicals generated by man-made pesticides and chemical fertilisers also damage the soil, reducing its ability to produce nutritious food.  Never has the human race been so well fed yet so nutrient starved.  Almost all of us suffer from some sort of mineral and/or vitamin deficiency in our diet but it is very difficult to find out what we are lacking.  Maximol contains all the minerals and vitamins we need and fills in those gaps left by our diet.

For a more targeted dietary supplement, particularly at this time of year I recommend VMM Immune System Nutrients.  It can supply you with very special nutrients, which your body needs if you are coming down with sickness.  It is loaded with ingredients which appear to stimulate the nervous system and stimulates the cells to produce macrpophages which help to fight infections.  VMM contains the following herbs: Echinacea, Thyme, Hyssop, Irish Moss, Hawthorne Berries, Mullein Leaves, Rosemary and Ginseng.

I used to be for ever getting colds and runny noses.  However they have now become a rarity since I started taking Maximol over two years ago and I generally feel much healthier.  I take Maximol every morning.  At the first signs that a cold might be coming on I take VMM.
